John Pielmeier‘s stage adaptation of William Peter Blatty’s The Exorcist is set to return this Halloween season, premiering in the UK at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre from 21 October to 5 November.
Pielmeier says his script has received a major re-write after its initial run at the Geffen Playhouse in LA failed to impress critics, despite being a big hit with audiences.
The cast of the new production have yet to be announced. The 2012 run had a line-up of stars including Brooke Shields as Chris MacNeil and Richard Chamberlain as Father Merrin.
Tickets are available now, via the theatre website.
